About
Our mission is pretty simple. We believe computers and the internet help you DO things. Like learn how to install solar panels around a town square. We want to enable people do DO great things using technology. How? Increase access and literacy. We collect older computers, refurbish them, and set them up as community technology centers. Then we teach basic computer skills, and train local resources for sustainability. Right now, we work primarily in Cape Verde, but are looking to expand soon.
We also do a bit of consulting. If your non profit needs a website or basic IT help we’ve got your back, because we want to help you DO good things with technology.
Interested? We’re accepting donations of equipment and money in the Philadelphia area. Hit us up here. We’re not tax deductible yet, but we’re working on it.
In the meantime, you can read about our first project here, and the people who started Technology Does here.
